Yia Mas Celebrates Bicentennial of Greek Independence

NEW YORK – Yia Mas founder Kristina Headrick shared the latest on the busy month of March for the wellness brand which is celebrating the bicentennial of Greek Independence with some special events and offers.

Headrick said via email, “March is turning out to be a busy month here at Yia Mas HQ! Firstly, we've taken some time to reflect – with immense gratitude – on how much this project has grown in the last year. The conditions of our global situation gave us a unique opportunity to spend more time on content and to connect with the virtual community. While it may have been at the expense of our ‘normal’ social lives, we're grateful for that silver lining! Thank you for supporting us through the e-shop, sharing our content, and attending workshops. We've been dedicating more time to research and cultural programming and have some very exciting workshops in the pipeline for spring. Keep an eye out!”

Dr. Christos Papakostas, a professor of dance in Greece, “is both one of the most knowledgeable, renowned people in this field, but also such a joy and fun teacher to boot,” Headrick said. “He's guest teaching our March 14 Greek Dance Club, you won't want to miss it!”
