UN Sees Cyprus “Give and Take”

Stephane Dujarric, a spokesman for the Secretary-General of the UN, Ban Ki_moon, issued clarification about his recent use of the phrase“give and take.”

The spokesman indicated that term applies to the final phase of the re-unification talks.

She added that the purpose of the dinner between the President of Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiades, the Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu amd the UN Secretary General`s Special Advisor is to discuss moving the process forward.

Dujarric was asked to clarify Ban Ki-moon’s remarks at a press conference. She said the Secretary General “referred to the leaders preparations for the next phase in the talks.”
