Greek-American James A. Koshivos, 21, Killed after Car Plunged into Ocean
FALMOUTH, MA – The police in Falmouth have identified the victim in an accident involving a car plunging into the ocean on February 20, NBC10 Boston reported.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-NY) today issued the following statement on the wildfires in Greece.
“I am deeply saddened over the death and destruction caused by the deadly wildfires near Athens. I send my deepest condolences to the families whose loved ones have been killed, and I wish those who have been injured a full recovery.
My office stands ready to help constituents who may have loved ones affected by these fires, and I will do all I can to assist them.
I thank all the brave first-responders for putting their lives on the line to battle the flames and rescue survivors, and I pray that these blazes will soon be brought under control.
The people of Greece are in my thoughts at this difficult time and I send my prayers to all who have been impacted by these terrible tragedies.”
