Tri-City Winter Luncheon Unites Upstate NY Philoptochos Chapters

ALBANY, NY – The three upstate Philoptochos Chapters from the communities of St. Sophia, St. George, and St. Basil, were together for a post-holiday winter luncheon on January 21 at the Italian-American Community Center. There were approximately 45 members attending.

Following a delicious meal, there were raffles and games to get the group laughing. Being together after the holidays was a pleasure for all. Many gifts were donated by parishioners at St. Sophia and local businesses. The three Chapters enjoy being together as often as they can to cooperate in being a ‘Friend of the Poor.’
