Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
The weather will get worse on Thursday and Friday with rainstorms that, in some cases, will be accompanied by hail, the meteo service of Athens National Observatory said.
Rain has started falling in western Greece while a heavy rainstorm has stricken the island of Corfu. Many areas of central and northern Greece are also expected to be affected before the evening.
A new front of heavy rainfall and rainstorms will hit the country from Thursday evening. The city of Thessaloniki and probably the region of Attica and the Greek capital will be affected.
