President Sakellaropoulou Meets with Cyprus’ DISY Leader Neofytou

ATHENS — President of Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou met on Thursday with the president of Cyprus' Democratic Rally (DISY) Averof Neofytou at the Presidential Mansion.

The Cyprus issue is a historically top national matter for Greece which will continue to steadily be on Cyprus' side and to totally support all the efforts for the reaching of a viable and operational solution for the Cypurs issue according to UN Treaties and to the European acquis, President Sakellaropoulou said in her meeting with Neofytou.

On his part, Neofytou conveyed to President Sakellaropoulou Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades' regards and briefed her on the latest developments in the Cyprus issue and the intense Turkish provocativeness.
