Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – Poughkeepsie AHEPA Chapter #158 held its 8th Golf Outing on July 26 at McCann Memorial Golf Course with 76 golfers participating and supporting the event on a very hot 90-degree day. The event raised $13,000. The post-outing dinner was held at the Poughkeepsie Hellenic Center.
Chapter President Stephen J. Miller presented a check for $11,000 to Presbyter Fr. Jason Dickey and Parish Council President Mike Bakatsias on August 8 following the Divine Liturgy at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church.
