Over 600 Employees at Greek Poultry Companies Tested for COVID

ATHENS — Over 600 employees in two of Greece's poultry producers in NW Greece, Pindos and Nitsiakos, were tested for the novel coronavirus on Tuesday by the national health agency's medical teams.

Civil Protection General Secretary Vassilis Papageorgiou visited both companies in the Ioannina region along with medical staff. He said that Monday's spike in new cases in the area raised an alarm at the civil service agency, which then decided to carry out the tests.
