Memory Eternal Florence Kaklamanos

NASHUA NEW HAMSPHIRE —  Florence Kaklamanos, 93, of Nashua, NH, died peacefully on Monday morning, 25 May 2020, after a period of declining health.

Born on 2 November 1926 in Brockton MA, the daughter of the late Peter and Christina (Economou) Jougras, she graduated from Nashua High School in 1944. She married Nicholas Kaklamanos on 25 May 1952, and raised their family in Nashua, where she was employed by the Nashua Corp. and Sanders Associates (now known as B.A.E. Systems) throughout her adult life.

Florence was a long time communicant of St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, and had been a volunteer in many parish activities, including membership in the A.G.A.P.E. Society at St. Philip.

She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas, on 27 January 2013, as well as by her brother Nicholas Jougras; surviving members of her family include her two children, Attorney James Kaklamanos, and his wife, Cynthia, and Kathy Kaklamanos, and her companion, Rick Bigbee, all of Nashua; her three grandchildren, Dr. James Kaklamanos, Jr., and his wife Kristen, of Nashua, Christie Conticchio, and her husband Peter, of Nashua, and Alexa Card, and her husband Brian, of Belmont, MA; she is also survived by sisters-in-law, Helene Kaye Scott, of Parrish, FL, and Helen Jougras, of Ashburn, VA, as well as her niece Christina Jougras, and nephew, Peter Jougras, both of Virginia.

SERVICES: A private burial service was held at the Woodlawn Cemetery, in Nashua. Donations may be made to St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, of Nashua.
