Man, 34, Arrested in Greece on Strength of European Warrant

KALAMATA — A 34-year-old foreign national was located and arrested in Kalamata on the strength of a European arrest warrant issued by Romanian authorities.

According to the police, there was an outstanding European arrest warrant against the 34-year-old on charges of robbery, committed on October 10, 2012 in Bucharest.

The 34-year-old is to be taken before a Kalamata appeals court prosecutor.
