Light Quake Shakes the Region of Etoloakarnania

ATHENS — A light tremor measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale was recorded at 01:10 on Monday, 20 km west-southwest of the town of Karpenisi at a focal depth of 17.7 km, the Geodynamics Institute of the National Observatory of Athens said.

According to the Euromediterranean Seismological Centre, the specific tremor measured 4.6 on the Richter scale and its epicentre was located 20 km west-southwest of Karpenisi.


ATHENS - Greece confirmed 18,834 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, with 45 of these identified at entry points to the country, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said on Monday.
