Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.

EODY also registered 62 new deaths, bringing coronavirus fatalities to 4,402 in total. The median age of all fatalities was 79 years, 95.5 pct had an underlying condition and/or were aged 70 or above, and 1,776 were women.
Health officials warned that extra restrictions might be enforced over New Year if Greeks fail to respect Christmas restrictions as Greece is under lockdown, and has seen new infections drop to three digits over the past few day.
