Giannis Siokas New President of the Hellenic Community of Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, Egypt — The Hellenic Community of Alexandria has acquired a new president, with Giannis Siokas being elected as its 23rd president.

Siokas is the first president of the Hellenic Community of Alexandria who is elected for the second time in this position, as he had again served as president for six years, from 2009 to 2015.

Siokas succeeded Edmondos Kassimatis, who died of coronavirus complications on October 17.
