Fort Lauderdale DOP Hosts Successful Bingo Event, Donates $1,300 to Church

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The Daughters of Penelope (DOP) Narcissus Chapter 289 on January 24 presented a check to Father Peter Zougras, presiding priest of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Fort Lauderdale, and Dr. George Georgakakis, Parish Council President. The check represented a total of $1,300 raised by DOP Narcissus Chapter 289 from Bingo Games conducted on Zoom during the months of October, November and December 2020. 

The Chapter invites all to join their next Valentine’s Bingo Game on Friday, February 12, 7:30 PM, via Zoom for lots of fun and prizes. Everyone is welcome.

All proceeds are donated to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Ft. Lauderdale. The church is unable to have their Festival this year, due to COVID restrictions and major construction on the roads in the area.
