Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS — A foreign national, 35, is being sought by police as suspect in raping a woman who had come to clean an apartment building in Athens on Saturday.
According to police and testimony by the cleaning lady, 50, she was cleaning inside the apartment building at Simachidon Street in the Kato Petralona district, when the man grabbed her, pulled her into his apartment and raped her. She was treated at a hospital following the incident.
The man has been identified by police as a rapist jailed in 2015 and released in 2020.
