Cyprus Participates in International Holocaust Commemorations

“The Republic of Cyprus contributes and participates in international efforts to express solidarity, respect and honour to the victims of the Holocaust, condemning at the same time anti-Semitism, racism and xenophobia in all their forms, a press release issued on Tuesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day,” CNA reported.

The messages from Auschwitz and the Holocaust are still in effect, especially “in an era in which the need for acceptance and respect to diversity, in tandem with the need to address racism, xenophobia and Anti-semitism becomes every day even more imperative,” the ministry’s press release declared.
