Controlled Explosion of WWII German Artillery Shell in Glyfada (Pics & Vid)

ATHENS – A controlled explosion of a WWII German artillery shell found during excavation for anti-flooding works in the Attica coastal town of Glyfada was carried out successfully on Monday.

The municipality of Glyfada will check the surrounding area for the existence of another shell in the coming days.
