Berliner Zeitung: A Greek Holiday may Be Possible for Germans This Year

BERLIN – A holiday in either Greece or Majorca could be a possibility for Germans this year, according to a report in the German newspaper "Berliner Zeitung", citing recent statements by a German government official. It also noted an interview given by Greek Tourism Haris Theoharis to the BBC about the gradual reopening of Greece's tourism sector.

The newspaper noted that journeys by car could initially be safer than flights, meaning this kind of tourism could begin earlier, and noted that Greece was aiming to open up hotels to foreign visitors from July 1, with details to be announced by May 15.
