Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
AKEL party Secretary General Andros Kyprianou met on January 23 with Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, in Turkey.
The Leftist political leader was expected to discuss the reunification talks with the Turkish high officials.
“Kyprianou, who is visiting Turkey at the invitation of Cavusoglu, said yesterday speaking during a panel discussion at Kultur University in Constantinople that there has been progress and convergences in the ongoing Cyprus talks but that there are still differences in the issues of security, property and territory,” CNA reported.
