Pfizer and Paxlovid Anti-viral Drugs for Covid-19 Available from Monday

ATHENS – The anti-viral drugs for Covid-19 Nirmtrelvir and Ritonavir, produced by Paxlovid and Pfizer, will be available in Greece from Monday, while applications for the drug can start to be submitted from Friday. The procedure will be similar to that used for the drug produced by Lagevrio.

The drug can be administered in the first five days after symptoms appear and applications are submitted in the first three days after symptoms appear and are confirmed by a Covid test. The patient must be registered for e-prescriptions as the drug can only be prescribed via an online platform.
