Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS — Deputy Tourism Minister Manos Konsolas said on Wednesday during his visit to the municipality of Agios Nikolaos, Crete, that the ministry has submitted a bill for the upgrade of tourism education in the country.
Konsolas also underlined the importance of the municipality of Agios Nikolaos on the map of tourism education.
"We have tabled a bold, sustainable and realistic bill that will make Greece a cradle of tourism education, in relation to other competing Mediterranean countries, while we are determined to proceed with it after the submission of additional proposals by the education ministry," he added.
