AHEPA Shrine Chapter 500 Supports Local Community

GREENLAWN, NY – AHEPA Shrine Chapter 500 of Greenlawn has joined the long list of AHEPA Chapters throughout the nation who are doing their part to support communities that have been affected with the coronavirus. The Shrine Chapter 500 held a community event to help the families of those who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

In a month-long campaign they raised $4,000 and collected over 400 pounds of canned goods and non-perishables that were distributed to families and food pantries across Huntington Township in Suffolk County, NY. The Empire State District 6 Lodge Executive Officers congratulated Shrine for their outstanding efforts that have helped hundreds of people in need and are proud of the commitment to their community. The Order of AHEPA, continues its chartered message of Philanthropy that has been anchored in its journey since its creation in Atlanta in 1922. In a few years, Shrine 500 will join the nation, celebrating AHEPA’s remarkable 100th anniversary.
