4.4 Richter Earthquake Jolts the Island of Crete

AGIOS NIKOLAOS, Crete – An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale shook the island of Crete on Monday.

The tremor struck at 03:24 in a region of the sea 63 km north-east of Zakros.

There is no report of damage or injuries.
