THIVA, Greece — A 15-year-old girl with an undiagnosed and serious health condition died after contracting Covid-19, shortly after her admission to a hospital in Thiva on Wednesday.
The girl had tested positive for Covid-19 on arrival and died of a heart attack a short while later. According to doctors, she had very high blood sugar and undiagnosed diabetes. Her mother, who also tested positive for the virus, was taken to Evangelismos Hospital and put on a ventilator on Tuesday.
