TNH’s Special Issue Honoring Greece’s Bicentennial

The 200 years since the Greek Revolution began in 1821 offers the opportunity to all Greeks to explore the rich history of this period and how the fight for freedom influenced not only the history of Greece, but world history as well.

In this special issue commemorating the 200th Anniversary of 1821, The National Herald invites academics, historians, writers, contributors, exhibition curators, journalists and institutions, to share their insights and thoughts on this historic occasion and in this remarkable bicentennial year.
