Taste of Greektown Returns to Chicago August 27-29

CHICAGO – Taste of Greektown returns to Chicago August 27-29 this year. The largest Greek festival in the Chicago area will celebrate 31 years of sharing Hellenic cuisine and culture on Halsted Street between Adams and Van Buren streets.

Among the highlights of this year’s festival will be authentic food from Greektown restaurants and bars, live music, Greek dancing, family activities, and shopping.

Further details relating to participating businesses and live entertainment will be announced closer to the festival dates.

Presented by the Greektown Chamber of Commerce with support from Greektown Special Service Area 16, the festival is sure to raise the spirits of the community. There is a $5 suggested donation to attend.

Festival hours: Friday, August 27, 4-10 PM; Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29, noon-10 PM.
