NEW YORK — New York Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney on Saturday said Democrats are ready to move on a second impeachment of President Donald Trump.
At a news conference on the steps of City Hall, Maloney said Trump "instigated, led, abetted and was part of this insurrection" to disrupt American democracy.
"He is incapable of leading. He cannot be trusted. He should resign immediately," Maloney said.
Democrats in Congress have laid out plans for swift impeachment of President Donald Trump as the the country comes to terms with the violent siege of the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters that left five dead.
