PM Mitsotakis Visits Kozani, Ioannina

ATHENS – Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is visiting Kozani and Ioannina on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, the prime minister will meet in Kozani with representatives of the University of Western Macedonia and local organisations. He will also chair a meeting on the phasing out of lignite and a just green transition.

Mitsotakis will then go to Ioannina, where he will have successive meetings with the mayor of Ioannina, Moses Elisaf, and the governor of Epirus, Alexandros Kachrimanis.

On Saturday, Mitsotakis will have a discussion with young people.

KHARKIV - Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, has released a video plea calling on world leaders to attend a “peace summit” next month in Switzerland after a deadly Russian attack on a DIY hypermarket in Kharkiv on Saturday.
