Greek-American James A. Koshivos, 21, Killed after Car Plunged into Ocean
FALMOUTH, MA – The police in Falmouth have identified the victim in an accident involving a car plunging into the ocean on February 20, NBC10 Boston reported.
NEW YORK – Philo4Thought presents an international conference free online on Art, Education & Philosophy in the Era of Crisis on Friday, June 12, and Sunday, June 14, beginning promptly at 11 AM both days. How has the pandemic affected art, education, and philosophical perspectives?
How has it affected our roles as participants, creators, consumers, and observers of life, nature, and art?
What new artistic themes have emerged in these times?
The speakers include Giagkos Andreadis of Panteion University in Athens, Christos Alexiou of the University of Birmingham in the UK, Monteiro Basilio of Saint John's University in New York, Ellen Callas of the legendary San Francisco Mime Troupe theater group, and Kirsten Loewenthal, Plastic Artist from Barcelona, Spain.
On June 12, Panel 1 focuses on Education in the Era of the Pandemic, and Panel 2 on Artists & Social Activism. On June 14, Panel 1 will discuss Critical Thinking & the Post-Pandemic Era, and Panel 2, Social Representations.
