Mitsotakis Meets Bulgarian President Radev

ATHENS — Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday met with the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, at the Maximos Mansion.

During the meeting, the excellent level of bilateral relations between Greece and Bulgaria was reaffirmed.

Mitsotakis also outlined the latest provocative actions by Turkey in the Eastern Mediterranean and Cyprus.

Economic, energy and defence co-operation between the two countries was discussed, as well as the progress of the Western Balkan countries towards accession to the European Union.



ATHENS - With six of 24 French-made Rafale fighter jets arriving in Greece, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said at a ceremony welcoming them that they are a deterrence against Turkey, which repeatedly sends fighters into Greek air space.
