Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
Nicos Anastasiades, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, is committed to continuing his efforts to open the Kokkina crossing point.
“The President`s reassurances are included in a letter of the Presidency`s Secretary, Pantelis Pantelides, to the mayor of Polis Chrysochous, Aggelos Odysseos, who, together with heads of the community councils of Pomos, Evaggelos Stylianou, and Kato Pyrgos, Costas Michaelides, had sent a letter to the President asking for the opening of the Kokkina crossing point,” CNA reported, adding “According to reply letter, President Anastasiades fully shares the just request for the opening of the Kokkina road, noting that this would facilitate residents in their daily activities and their communications to both Paphos and Nicosia.”
