Gennimata: Greece Should Ask for UN Intervention against Erdogan’s Provocativeness

ATHENS – Opposition Movement for Change (KINAL) leader Fofi Gennimata on Friday urged the government to ask that the UN secretary general intervene in order to counter the provocativeness of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"Mr. Erdogan continues to provoke by attempting to desecrate Hagia Sophia, a monument of international heritage. The government must ask immediately for the intervention of the UN secretary general and the European Union," she said.
