FM: Greek Citizens Advised to Avoid Unnecessary Movements in Mali and Burkina Faso

ATHENS – “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, taking into account the security situation in Mali and Burkina Faso, advises Greek citizens to avoid non-essential travel to these two countries,” according to an announcement on Wednesday.

“It is recommended that Greek citizens, who are already there, avoid unnecessary movements – especially after sunset – and observe the maximum possible security measures”.

It is noted that Greece does not have diplomatic/consular authorities in the aforementioned countries. Competent authority is the embassy in Dakar (Senegal).
