HACKENSACK, NJ – There is something blooming in Hackensack… The Shops at Riverside are an iconic destination for luxury shopping in the pocket of New Jersey, Bergen County, which is often referred to as the suburbs of Manhattan. Bloomingdales, Hermes, Bottega Veneta and now RSVP By Anastasia have locations there.
RSVP By Anastasia is a floral focused event design firm, founded by Greek-American Tenafly native, Anastasia Baker. In the two years that Anastasia has been in business, she has produced events for Visa, Emirates Airlines, and Dream Hotel group, and was scouted for a curated publication of high-end local businesses called The Scout Guide.
Pre-COVID, RSVP By Anastasia was focused primarily on fresh floral work for live events and would often do pop-ups selling preserved rose boxes at her friend and colleague Petroula Lambrou's cake pop shop, Patty Pops. The pop-ups would consecutively sell out every time.
With the encouragement driven by the success at Patty Pops, the federal and state regulations against live events, and a little shrewd negotiating, the brick and mortar location of RSVP By Anastasia was born. Anastasia calls a 3500 square foot, Italian marble-decked corner space that used to belong to Ferragamo, home.
Here, Anastasia and her team create one of a kind dried floral arrangements, preserved rose boxes, and a line of non-toxic, rose-scented soy candles. She imports roses from Ecuador directly that are preserved in an organic glycerin, which makes them last one to three years. She shares a manufacturer for the majority of her containers with Venus Et Fleur, a company that boasts Paris Hilton as an investor and the Kardashians as brand ambassadors.
With her first Valentine's Day quickly approaching, she is taking preorders online, on Instagram: @rsvpbyanastasia, via email: [email protected], and in store.
