Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
WASHINGTON, DC – The Grand Lodge of the Daughters of Penelope from USA and Canada came together for a collaboration of ideas to empower, promote growth and strengthen the philanthropic ideals of the sisterhood and brotherhood at the AHEPA Family Annual Leadership Conference for the District Governors on September 10. Meals on Wheels America Chief Development Officer Kristine Templin was the 2022 leadership speaker. It is one of the many worthy charities to which the Daughters of Penelope proudly support and sponsor.
In addition, presentations from the Grand Presidents and Supreme Presidents of all four orders were enthusiastically given. The Maids of Athena and Sons of Pericles inspired the delegation with their highly dynamic style, highlighting their future plans for the year. The young adults were extremely energized and further reinforced the strong values, commitment and love for sisterhood, brotherhood and civic duty and volunteerism that is the foundation of our AHEPA Family mission. A wonderful and productive day was had by all.
