Dep. FM Fragogiannis to Visit Berlin and Stockholm

ATHENS – Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis will be in Berlin on Thursday 12 May heading the fifth round of the interministerial deliberations of the Action Plan for Greece-Germany bilateral cooperation which was signed between the two countries’ Foreign Minstries in December 2016.

The aim of the Action Plan is the constant enhancement of the bilateral relations in sectors of mutual interest and the collaboration for the strengthening of the united Europe.

The ministries of Energy and Environment, Rural Development and Food, Migration and Asylum, Education and Religion, Labour and Social Affairs, Citizen Protection adn Digital Governance at secretary general’s level will also participate in the deliberations.

On Friday 13 May, Fragogiannis will visit Stockholm where he will meet with the Swedish Minister of Foreign Trade and Nordic Cooperation Anna Hallberg.

During his stay at the Swedish capital he will inaugurate the local offices of the Greek-Swedish Chamber of Commerce and will have meetings with the leadership of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and the Organisation for the Promotion of the Swedish Enterpreneurship and Investments Attraction “Business Sweden”.

The strengthening of the two countries’ economic and business relations as well as the transfer of Swedish know-how in issues of technology and innovation are also on his agenda.
