Assemblyman Michael Tannousis on Cuomo’s Resignation

NEW YORK – New York State Assemblyman Michael Tannousis released a statement on August 10 concerning the resignation of Governor Andrew Cuomo.

“Following over a year of autocratic rule and the troubling allegations that have come to light, I welcome the resignation of Governor Cuomo,” said Assemblyman Tannousis, “I wish the best of luck to our next Governor, Kathy Hochul, and hope to work with her for the betterment of our state.

“However, it is essential that we continue to investigate and seek justice for the brave women that the Governor victimized, the more than 15,000 nursing home patients that lost their lives to his incompetence, and the taxpayers who have been footing the bill.”
