UN: Our Thoughts Are with the Families of People Affected by the Tragic Train Incident

ATHENS – “Right now our thoughts are with all the families of the people who were affected by the tragic train incident that took place Tuesday in Greece,” the United Nations Secretary General’s spokesperson, Stephane Dujarric, said on Thursday.

“We wish a swift and full recovery to all of the people injured and we send our deepest condolences to all the families, to the people and to the Government of Greece. We are currently not involved but, of course, as in any tragic situation, we remain at the disposal of the Government of Greece, should they need our assistance,” the spokesperson added, during the noon press briefing.
