LAGFF’s International Project Discovery Forum Returns in May

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Greek Film Festival (LAGFF), taking place May 9-15 this year, announced that the 8th International Project Discovery Forum (IPDF), LAGFF’s 5-day development program, is back, refreshed and renewed. Any feature film in development originating and/or having the principal team from the following countries is eligible: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Kosovo, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, and Turkey.

The selected projects’ filmmakers (directors and/or producers) will participate in a rich and fun development program in person in Los Angeles for five days, May 11-15, and will compete for distinction from a panel of industry professionals. The submission deadline for IPDF is February 22.

LAGFF is also accepting submissions of new films completed in the last two years by Greek filmmakers or filmmakers of Greek descent as well as new films inspired by Greek themes and/or about Greece and Cyprus. The selected films will compete for the Best Feature, Documentary, Short Film, Animation Film, as well as Best Director, and Best Performance Orpheus Awards during the festival.
