Greek Deputy Min. of Development Meets with Canadian Cannabis Investors

ATHENS – Deputy Minister of Development and Investments Nikos Papathanassis on Thursday met in Athens with representatives of Canadian companies interested in investing in pharmaceutical cannabis, in the presence of Canadian embassy officials.

In a post on Twitter, Papathanasis wrote that “everyone is getting our message that every investment should give rise to well-paid jobs.”

Also on Twitter, the Canadian Embassy in Greece wrote “Canada and Greece have enjoyed good trade relations for many years! We look forward to supporting Greek and Canadian companies to create new partnerships in new industrial sectors.”
