Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.

According to the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), at 12:03 a pair of Turkish F-16s flew over the Anthropofagi islets at 19,000 feet, while at the same time another pair of Turkish F-16s flew over Anthropofagi and Makronissi at 10,000 feet. In both cases, the Turkish military aircraft did not submit a flight plan.
Greek fighter jets recognised and intercepted the Turkish F-16s, in accordance with international rules.
