BETHESDA, MD – The Pancretan Association of America (PAA) announced that its Youth donated six new laptops to the Child and Youth Protection Branch of Chania. In the fall of 2023, PAA President Diane Kounalakis asked the PAA Youth, which consists of young people between the ages of 15 and 30, to undertake the fundraising effort to help purchase six new computers along with software for the Child and Youth Protection Branch of Chania (formerly the Boys’ Orphanage in Crete). “The Youth board was happy to take on this project,” said PAA Youth President Vanessa Balis. “I strongly believe in the charitable efforts of our organization and it makes us especially happy when we are effective in our work.”
