Letter to the Editor: On Turkish Provocations

October 19, 2021

To the Editor:

I will keep my letter brief, but we must speak out every day and repeat our words in case they can bring some change.

After the Greek-French agreement, Turkey became even more provocative instead of calming down a bit. They had the audacity to accuse Greece and Cyprus of “violating the Turkish continental shelf.” They want it all for their own and say that we ignore Turkey’s rights in the Eastern Mediterranean. That is, they try to come out on top even though they are to blame. Someone has to stand up to them because they do not understand with words alone.
