EU Official: If Turkey Crosses the Line There Will Be Consequences

BRUSSELS — Turkey will be among the main issues that will be discussed at the EU foreign ministers' meeting on September 21, while China will also be very high on the agenda, an EU official said on Friday. Issues referring to Belarus, Libya and Venezuela will also be discussed , the official added.

Additionally, the same source said that "The EU urges Turkey to a de-escalation and change of stance," noting that "If Turkey crosses the line there will be consequences". The same official said that "dialogue is the way that can lead to solutions," noting that the overall EU relations with Turkey are expected to be discussed.
