According to the Rubin Museum’s website, “Visitors tell us that the Tibetan Buddhist Shrine Room is one of their favorite immersive art experiences in New York. Now the Shrine Room is accessible for virtual visits, so it can continue to be a refuge in times of stress, anxiety, and uncertainty.”
The two-hour stream of the Shrine Room is available online and features the flickering butter lamps and meditative Buddhist chants that are part of the live installation.
