Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
The Christmas Party of the Pan Arcadian Federation of America filled Geros Tou Morea headquarters with young adults and Kefi. There was delicious food from Xenon Taverna and DJ Spyro had everyone dancing with an excellent mix of music. Nicholas Kontoleon, Eastern District Governor, greeted the guests and thanked all who contributed to the event’s success.
Among the organizers were Demetrios Filios, past national president of the Federation and Apostolos Lagos and Gloria Katsimalis, president and board member of Geros tou Morea – named for the Greek revolutionary hero Theodoros Kolokotronis – respectively.
