BOSTON – The Xenia Greek Hospitality group behind a range of Greek restaurants in and around Boston – Greco, Krasi, Bar Vlaha and Hecate is going to add another, Kaia, in the capital city’s trendy South End area..

Kaia will feature food from the Aegean and owner Demetri Tsolakis told Time Out Boston that a feature will also be meze, appetizers that let people have or share a group of foods or those who want to get a drink and a snack.

He said he wants it to be like Aegean island spots. When you’re done with your swim, you go sit at a table and they will make you what is fresh. That’s the Aegean way,” he said of what he’s aiming for: a carefree attitude.

It will open in a luxury condo building and have 100 seats but room for walk-ins at a 24-seat bar and dining room and be available for private and semi-private events, the city finding high-end Greek eateries becoming as popular as traditional fast casual places.
