Worker at Quarry Killed after Being Crushed by Block of Marble

DRAMA, Greece – A 40-year-old man working in a quarry in the Pyrgoi area in the municipality of Drama, northeastern Greece, was killed on Wednesday when he was crushed under a marble block that fell on him while it was being processed.

It is the second labour accident at the same quarry in less than six months.
