Woman’s Body Found in Central Greece Belongs to Missing Pharmacist

KARDITSA, Greece — A woman's body that was found on Thursday on the banks of Pamissos river near the bridge Magoulitsa of the municipality of Mouzaki, Karditsa region, is that of a 43-year-old pharmacist missing since last Friday night, when the Medicane Ianos hit the region of Thessaly.

The body was found by a special rescue team's sniffer dog, in the mud on the river bank.

The woman's car was located early Saturday near Mouzaki.
