Wildfire Breaks Out in Loutropyrgos, Nea Peramos

ATHENS – A wildfire broke out a few while before 10:30 on Friday in a forest area of Loutropyrgos, Nea Peramos.

According to the Fire Brigade, the fire is burning 3 km after Elefsina Toll Station on the direction to Corinth at Loutropyrgos.

15 Fire Engines with 55-member crew, three teams of firefighters on foot, 3 firefighting helicopters and two firefighting aircraft are currently battling the blaze.
